BECOME A JVI APPRAISER

Thank you for your interest in joining the JVI Appraiser Roster! Please take a brief moment to view a short presentation that will familiarize you with JVI.

JVI maintains a nationwide roster of approved appraisers who are state-licensed or certified appraisers in accordance with the minimum licensing/certification criteria issued by the Appraiser Qualifications Board of the Appraisal Foundation.

If you are interested in developing a business relationship with JVI, please take a moment to submit the following items to our Panel Management team via email at pm@jvisolutions.com.

A minimum of three (3) Work Samples
(These samples should include an REO assignment including the Supplemental REO Addendum, a 2000 Field Review and a complex assignment. If you do not have experience with REO work, or completing a 2000 Field Review, please let us know and send another type of appraisal sample.)

Your resume (including 3 references)
A copy of your current appraisal license(s)
A copy of your current E&O Insurance policy

We have focused mainly on REO work for the past 10 years but have recently begun to sign new clients for origination assignments. If you do not have experience with REO work, JVI has an online Appraising REO Properties course, based on our live seminar, that you will be required to take prior to being added to our roster. The course is approved for 6 CE hours in most states (5 in CA).

If your REO experience allows you to forgo the course or you are only interested in Non-REO work, we request you complete a General Appraisal Knowledge exam. JVI certifies to our current and prospective clients that all of our roster appraisers have either completed our online REO course or live seminar, or have passed a general appraisal knowledge exam. We developed this exam to assess your basic working knowledge of generally accepted appraisal practices and procedures.

If you have multiple appraisers in your firm we will need to review the above referenced items for each appraiser interested in applying for our roster.

Upon review of your submitted documents you will be contacted by a member of the Panel Management team to discuss your fee schedule and any additional requirements.

Once you have been approved, you will be notified and placed on the JVI Appraiser Roster.
